Custom Fit Dentures

Dentures in a glass of water sitting on palm of handIf you are missing some of your teeth, you’re not alone. There are tens of millions of Americans who are missing all of their top or bottom teeth, and many more who are missing at least one. But that does not have to be you. At Brea Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, we’re proud to offer custom-fit dentures as one of the most powerful and accessible treatment options to help you eat, talk, and smile again just like you used to.

What Are Custom-Fit Dentures?

Custom-fit dentures are a removable prosthetic designed to replace one or more missing teeth. While dentures have been used for hundreds of years, the modern version is much more advanced than its predecessors. Today’s dentures take advantage of advances in computer technology to custom mold them to your mouth with an ultra-high level of precision. This means less time for you. Not only are the appointments fewer and shorter, but we can often manufacture your brand-new dentures in under a week.

What Kinds of Custom-Fit Dentures are Available to Me?

There are a wide variety of dentures that can be custom molded to your unique oral health needs. Two of the main types are partial dentures and full dentures, depending on whether you are missing just some or all of your teeth. Other types of dentures might require us to file down some of your remaining natural teeth to act as anchors for the dentures, or the dentures might fit over your remaining teeth.

Regardless of the type, dentures are all designed to be fully functional replacements for your natural teeth. This means giving you a full range of freedom when it comes to what you can eat and how easy it is to talk. While dentures require routine cleaning and maintenance, we design them to be durable enough to stand up to everyday wear and tear so that you never have to think about them.

Can Custom-Fit Dentures Help My Smile?

Even missing just one tooth can have serious health consequences. Your other teeth can become misaligned as they crowd into the empty space. If it is a back tooth that is missing, one of your molars, then this can put extra stress on your more fragile teeth which aren’t meant for chewing. There are also deeper problems that are harder to see. Without a tooth to support or stimulate it, the jawbone beneath can grow weak and shrink rapidly, changing the entire appearance of your face.

Smile With All of Your Teeth Again!

Missing teeth do not just make eating and talking more difficult. They can also have a serious impact on self-esteem and confidence. But with the low cost, incredible ease, and natural appearance of custom-fit dentures, there is no reason that you have to suffer through any of that. Here at Brea Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, we’re committed to helping as many people as possible regain not just their smiles, but their passion for life.
